An Artist Reception Featuring the Works of Patricia Buckley
May 8 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

The Richmond Area Arts Council will host an artist exhibit from May 8-June 19 featuring the works of Patricia Buckley! Buckley is a Madison County painter working in oil and pastel. Her works are inspired by the countryside, landmarks, and living creatures both wild and domestic. She takes photographs of her surroundings almost every day and uses them as inspiration for her paintings. Buckley is inspired by early morning mists that hang over the hollows and the long shadows on the fields. She loves the evenings when reds, oranges, and purples streak across the sky.
An opening reception for the exhibit will take place at the Richmond Area Arts Center from 5:30-7:00 p.m. on May 8. Light refreshments will be provided, and the artworks will be available for purchase. The exhibit is open for viewing Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. at the Richmond Area Arts Center located at 399 W. Water Street.
