Local Movement History Waling Tour through Brushy Fork!
June 5 @ 7:15 pm - 8:30 pm

The Madison County Tenants Union will be welcoming neighbors from all across the state to Berea! They will be coming to town for a weekend long training on building powerful movements for justice with Kentucky Civic Engagement Table, BLACK (Black Leadership Action Coalition of Kentucky), KY Tenants, and other organizations.
To welcome our neighbors to town, we will be hosting a walking tour through Brushy Fork on the evening of Friday June 6th. Please meet up with us and meet fellow Kentuckians as we go for a guided walk in the woods.
We will meet up on the lawn of Union Church, just outside of Boone Tavern. There we will briefly discuss the history of the many movements for justice that have their roots right here in Madison County.
The walk will be relatively easy for many different skill levels. It will included some small hills. The Brushy Fork Trails are not wheelchair accessible. If you have questions if the guided walk through the woods is right for you, please reach out to MCTU.
The walk through the woods will be less than 2 miles total and will be at a light walking pace. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Stay tuned to this page for any updates because of the weather.
