
Irvinton House Museum Exhibit: Revolutionary Threads Opening Reception

Irvinton House Museum (located at 345 Lancaster Avenue, Richmond, KY 40475) is featuring a special temporary exhibit, Revolutionary Threads: Uniforms of our Patriot Ancestors, which will be on view to the public Tuesday, April 1st through Friday, April 25th during museum hours. The exhibit was organized and developed by the Transylvania Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution, Lexington, Kentucky, to honor the America250 Celebration and will travel to museums, libraries, and historical societies in Kentucky through December 2026. The opening reception will be held during Richmond KY Parks and Recreation’s Tasty Tuesday event on Tuesday, April 8th from 5:00 – 8:00 PM.
This exhibit is being shown at Irvinton House Museum with the generous support of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution; Members of Transylvania Chapter NSDAR, Lexington, KY; Members of Boonesborough Chapter NSDAR, Richmond, KY; and the City of Richmond KY Parks and Recreation Department.
