Annual Meeting

April 25 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
The Mountain Music Teachers Association Annual Meeting will include practical hands-on workshops, skill sharing, instrument setup, jamming, and networking for music teachers (and prospective music teachers).
To register, email mountainmusicteachers@gmail.com.
The registration fee is $25 for MMTA members; $50 for non-members; free for students. Up to 6 professional development hours can be provided for participants.

10:00-11:15 | Leading Traditional Music Ensembles with Professor Elizabeth DiSavino
11:30-12:30 | Two Options: Tune Swap with Blakeley Burger or Ear Training Games with Sarah Kate Morgan
12:30-2:00 pm | Lunch on your own
2:00–2:20 pm | Annual Business Meeting
2:30-3:15 | Diagnosing Common Instrument Problems with Jim Webb, Scott Miller, and John Ryster
3:30-5:00 | Lesson Swap and Wisdom Sharing
7:00 pm | Free public concert by the Bucolics Project
The Mountain Music Teachers Association promotes excellence in teaching regional traditional music and dance for students of all ages through professional development, advocacy, and mentorship.
