Community Gathering Class
May 15 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

We’re excited to introduce a new class open to everyone in our community—not just homeschool families! Whether you’re part of a homeschool group, public school, or simply looking for something meaningful and fun to be part of, you’re invited.
Our goal is to create a welcoming space where people can connect, learn, and enjoy time together. There are no prerequisites and no pressure—just sign up, show up, and join in.
A Walk Through the Major City-States of Ancient Greece
We’ll explore the major city-states of Ancient Greece—Athens, Sparta, Corinth, and Thebes—focusing on:
• how each government functioned
• how people lived and worked
• what ultimately became of them
• how people lived and worked
• what ultimately became of them
Participants will break into groups representing each city-state:
• Larger city-states will have more people—but greater resource demands
• Smaller ones may have enough resources but will need alliances to survive and thrive
• Smaller ones may have enough resources but will need alliances to survive and thrive
Come learn, connect, and experience history in a whole new way.
