Doubles (Good vs. Evil) Tournament

Tournament Format
Qualifying Round (Round 1)
* Each player will bowl three (3) games during qualifying.
* Teams will be allotted 10 minutes of practice on their assigned pair of lanes prior to competition.
* At the conclusion of practice, each team must determine which lane pattern each partner will bowl on.
* Each bowler will compete on a single lane for all three games (no cross-lane play). This means one partner will bowl exclusively on one pattern, while the other partner bowls on the alternate pattern.
* Team scores will consist of the combined pinfall of both partners plus applicable handicap.
* The top eight (
teams based on total score will advance to the next round.

* In this round, partners will switch lane patterns, competing on the opposite pattern from Round 1.

* The top four (4) teams based on total pinfall (including handicap) will advance to the final round.
* Lanes will not be re-oiled between rounds.
* Lane pair assignments for this round will be determined by random draw.
* In this round, partners will switch lane patterns, competing on the opposite pattern from Round 1.
* Scores from Round 1 will not carry over; all teams will start fresh.
* The top four (4) teams based on total pinfall (including handicap) will advance to the final round.

Handicap Rules
* Handicap will be calculated at 90% of a 210 average.
* Maximum handicap is 25 pins per player, per game.
* Handicap is based on each bowler’s highest 2024–2025 USBC yearbook average, with a minimum of 24 games required. Anyone without an established average for the required years will be denoted as scratch.

Oil Pattern:
Each pair of lanes will consist of one lane featuring the 2026 PBA Badger oil pattern and the other lane will feature the 2025 PBA Wolfe oil pattern.
Prize Fund:
First place $1,000 based on 24 teams

No deposit required for entry however, all teams who verify will receive 20 pins added to their team total during qualifying round only. Last date to verify will be July 25th. This rule does not apply to walk-in entries.
