Healing in Motion 5K

Healing in Motion 5K is SVRC’s inaugural fundraising and awareness event, held in recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month. This community-centered event honors survivor resilience, promotes healing, and raises critical support for SVRC’s free, confidential services for individuals impacted by sexual violence across our 17-county region.
The event places special emphasis on raising awareness of Military Sexual Trauma (MST) and strengthening connections between military-affiliated individuals, veterans, and supportive community resources.
The morning features a family-friendly atmosphere, including a Kids Run followed by the 5K, bringing together survivors, advocates, military families, veterans, and community leaders committed to safety, dignity, and hope.
