RECEPTION: Elysian: BFA Exhibition

April 26 @ 2:00 pm - May 8 @ 4:00 pm
Elysian: BFA Exhibition
April 26 – May 8, 2026
Reception: Sunday, April 26, 2:00-4:00PM
‘Elysian: BFA Exhibition,” hosted at the Fred Parker Giles Gallery on the campus of Eastern Kentucky University, showcases the culminating work of 20 graduating students from the ICCA School of Art & Design (SoAD). As a collective thesis exhibition, it brings together a wide range of creative practices while highlighting each student’s distinct creative voice.
‘Elysian,’ as a title evokes inspirational spaces and moments of clarity and creative possibility. 20 individual thesis presentations bring together a wide range of practices—logo design, branding, illustration, packaging, printmaking, photo mosaics, and mixed media. In this way, ‘Elysian’ presents a range of diverse works that explore the student pursuit for meaning across the studio art and design spheres.
Join the exhibitors at the public reception on Sunday, April 26, from 2–4 PM. ‘Elysian’ will be on view until May 8, 2026, and is free and open to the public. Free parking is available in the Crabbe Lot, directly across from the Campbell Building, after 5 PM and on weekends.
